साईत अथवा मुहूर्त

Notice: Saait (साईत) usually lasts for a short time period starting at a specific point in time. Those short periods of time are expressed in units known as Lagna (लग्न अथवा लगन). Thus even after you find out the appropriate day for your event like wedding or bratabandha, you still need to find the appropriate Lagna on that day. Depending on where you live in the world, the Lagna might fall on the same days or different days from the ones listed below. The following dates are to be used only as rough guidelines. For expert advice on proper timing of such events, you should consult a professional astrologer.
